The Youngberg Hill site holds a mix of deep clay soils and volcanic soils, encouraging wines with a tense minerality and great concentration. Now in its maturity, this round, well-balanced Pinot still shows youthful exuberance, with hints of ripe red cherry and cranberry framed by developed flavours of forest floor, bay leaf, sandalwood, walnuts, and saddle leather.
