Undurraga Terroir Hunter Sauvignon Blanc 2021 - 750 ml bottle

Product details

A 100% Sauvignon Blanc grown in vineyards on the northern end of the Limarí river, adjacent to the Fray Jorge national park. The vines here are planted on limestone soils with constant cooling influences coming from Pacific breezes that sweep through the valley all day. The grapes are harvested by hand and pressed gently into stainless steel for fermentation at cool temperatures, before the completed wine is aged for five months on fine lees. Amanda Barnes: An inviting nose of lemon zest and fine herbs, great intensity on the nose and palate. Racy! Ideal for oysters. Ben Gubbins MW: Asparagus, green bell pepper, citrus zest, passion fruit and a savoury note. Crisp, light, elegant and refreshing with a long citrus finish. Complex yet very enjoyable. Dirceu Vianna Junior MW: Remarkable aromas of tropical fruits, asparagus and citrus jump out of the glass. Shows great concentration of fruit, lovely texture and a persistent, refreshing finish. Drinking window: 2022-2028. Part of Premium South American Whites: Panel Tasting Results. Score - 95. (decanter.com, Sept. 7, 2022)
