Produced from Corvina, Rondinella and Merlot wine grapes made in a similar method as Amarone wines. 'Graticcio' is the term for the traditional bamboo racks used for air-drying grapes after the harvest. Tommasi partially dries the grapes for this wine and partially ages the wine in oak casks. This method enhances the body and concentrates the flavours in the wine with this example showing dark cherry, ripe plum, savoury herb, chocolate and subtle spicy flavours on the palate.
