This wine was first released in 1999 and it has always been a selection of Altamira vineyards in the Uco Valley. An ample, succulent malbec with ripe black-fruit flavors and sweet-spice tones, with round and expansive tannins that fill the palate. It was aged in oak barrels (70% used, 30% new) for 13 months, and that's evident in the sweet tones that spread across the palate. A generous, exuberant red. Score - 94.
