Bright and intense on the nose, with some candied brown sugar and delicate flinty notes, the 2020 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Spätlese reveals a finely weathered slate aroma intertwined with ripe and generous but still fine and elegant fruit. Mouth-filling, round and seamlessly textured, this is an elegant and balanced Spätlese with juicy, stimulating, salty fruit and finish.
