62/31/7% grenache/shiraz/mataro, the majority 70+yo vines; 16% whole bunches, 12% carbonic maceration; matured in old French oak for 8 months. Vivid red purple in the glass, super-ripe plum and blueberry notes are led by wafts of frangipani over a base of exotic spice, amaro herbs, licorice, earth and cherry danish. A very modern, juicy take on the classic blend, with pure, juicy fruit, tight ripe tannin and a finish that lingers beautifully. It's just great, spicy drinking. Drink by: 2032. Special Value.
