This is the first time this cult collector wine has been available through Vintages. Self-taught vintner Sean Thackrey has been making wines using ancient methods since 1980 and this, a single-vineyard field blend of mostly Rhône varieties, is prized for its complexity, smoothness and brilliance. The previous 2015 vintage earned a whopping 98 points from critic Jeb Dunnuck, so expect big things.
