This wine comes from Kakheti, which is Georgia's most important wine region in terms of total production, quality and historical significance. Once used solely to add colour and freshness to blends, the Saperavi grape has established itself as a superb single-varietal wine. This one is lush and generous, with damson plum, red cherry and firm tannins. Pair with roast pork.
