This is a fragrant, approachable, and delicious cabernet sauvignon from Alexander Valley, in northeastern Sonoma County. I really like the depth of flavour here - tender blackberries, juicy black cherries, and poached damson plums are finely interwoven with dried herbs, nutmeg, cloves, and vanilla. The velveteen palate is supported by fine-grained tannins and uplifting acidity, while the long finish is infused with a soothing, comforting warmth. Tasted August 2023. Score - 91.
