From a single plot in Rocche dell'Annunziata, this Barolo ages for 18 months in big oak vessels. On the nose there's a smoky-graphite character with intoxicating mint and violet scents, some milkiness in depth and a lot of delicacy. Refined, polished tannins dominate the palate, with integrated oak, red currants, brilliant acidity and a bright fruit finish. A slightly modern Barolo, but classic Annunziata.
