Deep amber hue with a light sanguine tinge. Complex, with distinctive notes of Chinese herbs, honeysuckle, kumquat, papaya, caramel and dried persimmon. Sweet, but well balanced, and just medium-bodied for a Vin Santo. Still quite fluid, fresh and not unctuous, showing good drinkability. Drink or hold. Score - 94. (jamessuckling.com, Aug. 8, 2022)
