[Though not the same bottling as reviewed by Carolyn Evans Hammond, this will reflect similar qualities and consistent character.] On the nose, it exudes soft, subtle aromas of freshly sliced apricot, ripe raspberry and almond nougat. The palate is restrained. Sheer. With dry, airy flavours of raspberry and struck steel, toasted meringue and grapefruit zest that linger on the finish. There are bubbles too, but they're small. Delicate. A steady stream of tiny beads that add a mousse-like mouthfeel. The aromas, flavours and texture coax you back sip after sip much the same way a great fragrance draws you in again and again - like a quiet secret. Score - 95.
