The 2013 Chianti Classico Querciabella is gorgeous. Sweet, perfumed and silky in the glass, the 2013 is simply exceptional. The flavors are bright and beautifully delineated, while the mid-weight, gracious structure speaks to finesse. With air, the 2013 becomes darker and broader in the glass, yet still retains considerable freshness. This is a superb showing from Querciabella. Drinking window: 2016-2028. Score - 92.
