A bend of 90% Sangiovese with 10% Canaiolo and Colorino, this opens with enticing aromas of fragrant blue flower, wild berry, exotic spice and a whiff of new leather. Full-bodied and elegant, the smooth, densely woven palate doles out juicy black cherry, licorice, orange zest and a hint of nutmeg set against velvety tannins. Fresh acidity keeps it well balanced.
