Deep cassis and almost liquorous licorice notes mark the nose of the uber-concentrated 2019 Crozes Hermitage Nouvelere. It's a beautiful, ageable beast of a Crozes, with ample weight and richness on the palate, oodles of ripe tannins and a long, velvety finish that hints at dark chocolate, but it stays just this side of overripe.
