The first of Nikka's production sites, Yoichi was chosen as a distillery site because of the environmental similarities between the region and Scotland. The Yoichi Single Malt has become a reflection of the distillery's style and influence. This whisky is smoky and spicy, with notes of dried apple and briny sea breeze.
