Xarel-lo (char-ell-oh) is an uncommon Spanish grape that's better known as a blending wine with other indigenous varieties to produce Cava. In recent years, modern tastes have amplified the desire for new styles of wine and Xarel-lo has delivered, mixing flavours of tree fruit with floral aromas and hints of raw almonds.
