Mountadam vineyard at 550m elevation. Fermented in seasoned French oak barriques with partial mlf. Here is evidence that less is always more with chardonnay, the elegance a marked step up from Mountadam's Five-Fifty. Fruit purity and minerality triumph over oak. Bright citrus, al dente white peach and spice are ever-so-subtly blessed with classy French oak. The line and tension of malic acidity draws out a long, thrilling finish that will set this vintage among the greats from this historic estate. Drink by: 2032. Score - 93.
