Planted back in 1981, Wade Metzer's maritime Chenin Blanc comes from a vineyard that's not much more than a stone's throw from the ocean. Naturally fermented in older French wood, it's an extraordinary wine, tangy with sea salt and kelp aromas, fresh, mealy and intense on the palate and effortlessly long and intense.
