La Badiola Gran Selezione 2017 is such a perfect example of a Radda Chianti Classico. These are some of the highest vineyards in the area at 550m above sea level, giving cool nighttime temperatures and a longer, slower, ripening season. With beautifully pure red berry, cherry and violet aromas and flavours, the thing that sets this wine apart is the seamless quality of the tannins and the melting texture. Drinking window: 2021-2033.
