This is a wine I always love, thanks to its distinctive grace and floral notes of wild rose and lilac. The M. Marengo 2019 Barolo Bricco delle Viole shows more heft and concentration in this growing season, and it's visible in its darker color. The bouquet is also compact and more robust at the same time with cassis, light spice and candied orange peel.
