The 2020 Le Nardian is a blend of 70% Sauvignon, 15% Sémillon and 15% Muscadelle, coming in at 13.95% alcohol and a pH of 3.40. The picking dates were August 27th for the Sauvignon and the Sémillon and September 2nd for the Muscadelle. It was fermented in French oak barrels, 50% new. It leaps from the glass with exuberant scents of fresh pineapple, green mango and ripe Bosc pears with hints of honeysuckle and wet pebbles. The medium to full-bodied palate is packed with tropical fruit flavors, delivering a decadent oiliness to the texture and a lively backbone, finishing long and invigorating. Drink date: 2023-2029.
