A mesmerizing wine from Ontario deserves a place on your table. One whiff tells you it's something special. The fragrance unfolds slowly with suggestions of orange zest, roasted hazelnut and baked apple. Then, it floods in with rich body and glorious poise. Each luminescent sip ripples with cool flavours of citrus, toast, sweet butter, nut and stone, tasting lustrous and dry from beginning to long, lingering end. Let this wine take centre stage and pour it with herb-marinated, grilled chicken. Both will sing. A few steamed green beans and buttered baked potato are all you need to complete the plate.
