'Lapis Luna' is Latin for 'stone and moon' and encapsulates this producer's reach-for-the-moon attitude of exploring and revealing undiscovered California vineyard sites. The 2020 Zinfandel contains 20% Sangiovese, which is an Italian grape that's finding some traction in the New World in places such as California and Australia. The wine shows well-framed red fruit tones and a gorgeous, mouth-caressing texture. Perfect for grilled ribs.
