Blauburgunder is a synonym for pinot noir used in Germanic areas of central Europe, including northern Italy. This is a lovely fragrant example with lifted, perfumed red rose, classic pinot cherry, tobacco and lightly spicy notes. It is light to medium weight, fresh and nicely energized, with a juicy cran-cherry finish. Very good length. Tasted June 2024 Score - 90. (David Lawrason, winealign.com)
