Aromas of sharp spice, dark cherry/berry fruit and exotic incense easily waft from the glass with two or three swirls. The palate's treated to a gusher of flavours - bramble berry, Saskatoon berry, savoury herbs and plenty of tang and pizzazz. A delectable, affordable red that should not disappoint. It is medium weight and nicely textured with good mouthfeel, deft balance, savoury herbs and plenty to like. Pour with mushroom and beef pot pie or a cassoulet or osso buco. Drink or cellar.
