Inspired by the oaked Sauvignon Blanc wines of Bordeaux and Pouilly-Fumé, Hidden Bench ferments this wine in oak barrels. The vines of the Rosomel Vineyard range in age from 7 to 28 years old. It all adds up to a concentrated, ripe, smoky wine, with vivid tropical fruit, gooseberry, grapefruit, orchard fruit, and a neatly defined minerality. Pair with tangerine-and-grape skewers, grilled cauliflower steaks or grilled pork.
