The sum of two big components framed by expensive oak. It's plush, mouthfilling and generous, but needs years in the cellar to show at its best. Presently, the vanilla oak speaks too loudly over the body of ripe blueberry, blackberry and blood plum, while firm Cabernet tannins dry out the finish. Harmony will swell in time.
