Certified organic shiraz from a 1902-planted vineyard on the sands of Vine Vale. Dense blackberry, black cherry and plum compote characters abound here and a packed column of baking spice, licorice, dark-chocolate bullets, violets and earth. The dark, edging towards broody, fruit is bracketed by powdery tannins, and the finish has a real crème de cassis-like intensity to it as it sleekly travels off into the distance. Drink from: 2023.
