Hazy dark brown colour with moderate head; aromas of roasted malt, dried fruit, herb and apple with notes of yeast, nut and spiced orange; full bodied, bittersweet and slightly sour palate, flavours of spice, dark fruit, vanilla, dried berry and caramel/toffee, with notes of oak, toasted cereal and earth ; pleasant bitter hops on the warm finish.
