Gloria Ferrer is Freixenet's outpost in California, a very sophisticated and popular lunch spot on the edge of Carneros outside of the town of Sonoma. This has very lifted, quite rich and fetching nose of leesy/brioche, pistachio/macaroon with a sense of clover honey and ripe pear. It is light to medium bodied with taut, very lemony acidity. Quite rich and full of flavour, and the length is excellent. Tasted October 2021. Score - 91. (David Lawrason, winealign.com)
