The 2022 Vintage was the hottest on record for the Mosel and Saarl. Wines were exposed to unusually hot temperatures throughout the summer with an extended drought near the end of the growing season, only experiencing rain around mid-September. Grapes that were left on vine for Auslese were picked early to retain extra acidity, resulting in an elegant wine with tropical, floral notes.
