Though aromatically relatively reticent, with aromas of orchard fruit and wet wool, this Vouvray has a far more expressive palate. With flavours of juicy lemons, crunchy apples, pears, and quince, this is classic chenin blanc. Medium-bodied, succulent, and off-dry, with bright acidity, it has an appealing texture and a long, characteristically grippy, slightly bitter finish. Tasted August 2023. Score - 90.
