A ripe wine with prominent black fruit, earth, mineral and spice. It's very tight at the moment; this powerfully built, fruit-forward Clos de Vougeot will need a little more time before approaching. Cellar for another year or two and then drink through the early 2030s, though it might be even longer-lived.
