Black is black! Intense blackberry, damson-plum and bitter-chocolate aromas. Generous, powdery tannins that easily carry the ample body and are beautifully balanced by the sweet black fruit. Very long, ripe finish that's intense and complex, but does not push the envelope a jot too far. From organically grown grapes in a 4-hectare clos, a real one with walls around it. Drink or hold.
