A barrel sample, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a single block. Deep ruby-purple, it's scented of cured meats, garrigue, warm plums and boysenberry preserves with touches of violets, aniseed and pencil shavings. In the mouth, it's full-bodied with lush fruit character, great freshness and a pixelated frame, finishing very long and floral. Score - 95-97. (Erin Brooks, robertparker.com, Oct. 30, 2020)
