This expresses a lovely nose that immediately reminds of a ripe red Bordeaux. It nicely brings together ripe raspberry/blackberry, fresh herbs/cedar, fine oak spice and a touch of mushroom. It is medium weight, quite elegant and sophisticated. The tannins are notably stringent but not green. The length is very good to excellent. The finish does not quite live up to the aromatic expectation. Best now to 2026. Tasted Dec 2022. Score - 90. (David Lawrason, winealign.com)
