The 2021 Chardonnay Amelia hails from the Quebrada Seca Vineyard in the Limarí Valley and was fermented in Burgundy barrels, 10% new. Green with yellowish sheen. The nose features green apple and pear notes along with ginger snap and herbs over a faint layer of cedar. Lean and fairly creamy in the mouth, the taut, refreshing acidity and pinch of salt make for an alluring flow. An intricately assembled white from Limarí in which the subtlety has been enhanced by the work with the lees and the wood. Drinking window: 2023-2033. Score - 96.
