Deep garnet in colour; forward lifted aromas of prune, vanilla and toast; on the palate the wine is dry, with medium to full body, medium acidity and fine-textured tannins; upfront flavours of prune, along with the vanilla and toast notes of oak; the finish is warm and soft.
