Ramato is a tradtional Venetian term that refers to this Pinot Grigio's distinctive coppery colour achieved by allowing the wine to rest on its pinkish skins for 36 hours. A great value from one of the first families in Italian wines (the Frescobaldis), this medium-bodied P.G. pleases with peach, strawberry and citrus flavours leading to a fresh and fruity finish. Attractive and memorable, it's a delightful aperitif wine or serve it with lighter fish dishes.
