A rustic, deeply pigmented Portuguese red that is made from the indigenous baga grape. Forward, earth-tinged aromas of smoke, coffee and prune with spicy/licorice and toast tones. Shows a firm palate that is redolent of smoke and prune, spice and toast flavours. Medium long, earthy, dried fruit finish.
