This is a balanced blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. The wine's aromas of sweet blackberry and violets play against earthy oregano, worn leather and tobacco notes. Blueberries coated with dark chocolate are joined by vanilla and pine nuts on the palate. Oak and tannins are integrating nicely. Editors' Choice. Score - 94.
