Ample amounts of wood toast and menthol barely allow the high-toned, super-fresh and elegant aromas of the essence of red berries, spice and lavender hints to be appreciated. There is a terrific sense of underlying tension to the intensely mineral-infused, muscular and very serious flavors that conclude in a robust, driving and saline finish.
