Located opposite a gorgeous 13th-century château, the Clos de la Velle Vineyard has well-draining calcareous soils. This dense, flavourful wine is aged in 20% new oak barrels and shows flavours of quince and pineapple mingling with aromas of hawthorn, honeysuckle, toasted hazelnut, and buttery oak.
