'Toasted Head' refers to the way in which this wine is matured, in barrels with toasted heads and staves. Dark, ripe fruit with plum, blackberry and cherry surrounded by vanilla with notes of caramelized sugar. Smooth and full-bodied with toasty dark fruit on the palate. Pairs well with grilled meats, and sharp cheeses.
