This wine is sourced from three wildly different vineyard plantings in order to craft a balanced, refined Gattinara: clay and limestone for lively acidity, rocky marl for inviting fruit flavours, and high-elevation shale for elegance. Aged for 40 months in Slavonian oak, it's a herbaceous, rustic wine with notes of sour cherry, rosemary, balsamic and tar.
