Abremundos Octava Alta

This is, as usual, a beautifully crafted red with blackberries, cocoa, wet earth and hints of dark mushrooms. It's full-bodied and flavorful, but in reserve. Needs time to soften and open, but already very impressive. 60% malbec, 20% cabernet franc and 20% cabernet sauvignon. Drink after 2024 [through 2033+]. Score - 96. (jamessuckling.com, Nov. 30, 2022)
