Amity Vineyards (part of the Union Wine Co.) is indeed a pinot noir specialist with several labels, including the Bass Hill, Eola-Amity Hills, Temperance Hill, Willamette and this Alchemist. A mixed if distinct Willamette vineyards example aged 22 months in 228L French wood. Most certainly a dark fruit, rich and luxe vintage, red berries mixing with black and more than just fruit but also tones, acids and tannins of a deeper kind. Honestly only a broad style of Willamette pinot noir scents and breathes like this, exhaling in full site amalgamated expressiveness while sapid enough to demand salty protein as a companion.
